A Lego What Now?

What exactly is a Lego Computer...?

In August 2007, I was bored and had an abundance of two things- Legos and computer parts. I had two choices here: Build a computer and build something with my Legos -or- Build a computer with my Legos. I decided on the latter.

Now, in August 2008, I have decided to take up construction on a second Lego Computer. The primary problems with the original were that I didn't have any control over the parts, so everything I had to work with was really big. But now I'm going to take the time to find small parts. Throughout this I'll be using Newegg primarily, but ebay will no doubt lend a helping hand in finding small parts.

Another problem with the original was that it wasn't a solid color. So I'll be buying directly from Lego and Bricklink to get matching colors and specialty pieces that I don't already have.

Unlike the second one, I'll be dishing out a little bit of money to create this new lego computer. Ignoring parts I already have, it will cost me about $90 to buy a motherboard, wireless card, powersupply, and some RAM. If you'd like to donate, toss me an email.
